Not fewer than 3 persons have died due to inhalation of toxic waste at Omotosho town, in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The victims, Monday Akinmusire, 35; Samuel Louis, 45; and Ododolewa Adebowale 19; were working in a forest when the incident happened.
The victims were said to have gone to the forest on Wednesday morning to cut tree and pieces them into timber form as usual when they met their untimely death.
It was gathered that the waste whose vapour they inhaled was dumped in the community by a Chinese company operating in the State.
It was further learnt that the deceased went to the forest reserve on a motorcycle.
The Police spokesman in the state, Tee Leo has confirmed the development.
