The Apostolic Theological Seminary Gets New Governing Council
The Apostolic Church, Akwa Ibom State Territory has inaugurated a Governing Council for The Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (TACTS),Obot Idim Nsit.
According to a statement by the Territorial Public Relations Officer of the Church, Apostle EtopAbasi Akpan,the brief ceremony took place last week at the Territorial Council Chambers, 61 Obio Imo Street, Uyo.
The Territorial Chairman, Apostle Uye reportedly charged members of the new Governing Council to put in their best to enable the church realize her vision about the institution. He prayed God to grant them the wisdom and enablement to successfully drive the vision of the founding fathers of the church.
In an acceptance speech, the Chairman of the new Governing Council, Prof.Antiabong Ekong thanked the church for the confidence reposed in them and promised to leave no stone unturned in placing the institution on the trajectory of growth and development.
The new Governing Council has the following: Prof. Antiabong Ekong- Chairman, Elder Samuel Moses Udowo; Apostle Asuquo Richard Okpo,Prof. Peter Esuh: Justice Okon Akpan Okon; Dr.Aniedi Usoroh;Pastor Peter Obot Udo and Dr.Paul Ojo.
Others are Ass.Prof. Donatus Okon; Pastor E.O.Essang as members ,Barr.Samuel B.Inyang- Legal Adviser; Dr.Friday Edem- Rector while Elder Samuel Akpan is is the Registrar/ Secretary to the Council.
The event had in attendance Territorial Executive members.
