PDP Chieftain tasks party on reward system
A founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Engineer Udo Tom Essien has advocated for a robust and enduring reward system for long-standing and committed members of the party.
Engr. Essien made this advocacy last Saturday, 19th March 2022 while playing host to the Ward Executive and elders of PDP Ward 7 in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
Engr.U.T.Essien noted that with a good reward system, members are bound to be more committed and would work harder for the party.
He said he hosted the party to appreciate and encourage them as well as pledge his Continuous support and loyalty to the party.
Engr. Essien urged the party to support the Governor’s Completion Agenda and called for the support of Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem in his senatorial ambition as a reward for his long years of service to the party and as a founding member.
Speaking during the ceremony, the political Leader of Ikot Ekpene and member of the BoT, Sen. Emmanuel Ibok Essien lauded the contributions of Engr.U.T.Essien to the party as a founding member.
He charged party faithful to remain resolute and committed to the ideals and programmes of the party. He assured that the party was waxing stronger.
Earlier in a welcome speech, the Ward Chairman,comrade Silas Sam thanked members for their steadfastness. He thanked Uko (Engr.) U.T.Essien for his love and support to the party.
There were goodwill messages by party stakeholders including Dr. Okoro Akpan Essien, Mr. David Udo Okon-former chapter Chairmen of the party, the Councillor representing the Ward, Hon. Abraham Udo, Dr.Margaret Ibok, Mkpisong Ememobong Essien, Barr (Mrs) Onofiok Essien among other party stalwarts.
