Nigerian Institute of Architects Akwa Ibom State Chapter holds her 2020 Bienniel General Meeting/Conference

As part of event marking the 2020 Biennial General Meeting/Conference of the Nigerian Institute of Architects Akwa Ibom State Chapter, the Executive Chairman of Uyo Capital City Developmet Authority, Prince Enobong Uwah, was amongst distinguished personalities that received award of excellence for meritorious achievements and outstanding contribution to the development of the long standing institute and the state at large.
Prince Uwah in his address, after receiving the award, appreciated the institute for recognizing his contributions and bestowing such an honour on him. He promised to continue collaborating with NIA to create ample opportunities for Architects and brainstorm on ways of providing affordable housing scheme to ameliorate the problem of shelter, which to him, forms part of the vision of the present Administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The well-attended conference which was chaired by Arc. Ezekiel Nya-etok, had in attendance myriad of prominent personalities, members of the institute and invited guests.
The 2020 Biennial General Meeting/Confernce of the NIA Akwa Ibom State Chapter, held at Ibom Tropicana, had as its theme “Designing for Population and Planetary Health”
High point of the Conference was the swearing-In of new Executives.
