Isantim Kenneth Okon: A toast to Grassroot General
Iniubong ANAKO
The name Rt Hon Isantim Kenneth Okon, the
Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Waterways, Coastal Matters and Special Duties is a household name in the sociopolitical sphere of Akwa Ibom State – a thoroughbred politician, astute administrator, grassroots mobilizer, good team player, project manager, policy driver and executor.
The former two-term Executive Chairman of Etinan Local Government, resonates capacity, courage to do right, philanthropy, goodwill and community service.
To him, showing compassion to the downtrodden is not determined by the depth of his pocket but the largeness of his heart; of course, it’s public knowledge that, the former Etinan Chief Executive Officer has silently built bridges of love, good will and philanthropy amongst his kindred and many who have crossed his path. He is a silent achiever, human developer and community builder, to say the least.
No wonder, he has been nicknamed by the youth clan in the State as the “King of the boys”, this might have been because of his youthful mien, popularity, endearing influence and philanthropic disposition, particularly amongst the youths and the elderly alike.
As this political juggernaut and friend of the commoners marks his nativity today, 26 December 2020, it has become necessary to reappraise his personage, his carrier achievements, humanitarian gestures and the prospects ahead.
Despite the hard times, occasioned by Covid 19, God is faithful and will always be.
May you swim in His grace and glory, and His promises keep fulfilling in your life for the interest of the people.
As your birthday falls at this precious season, may the significance of Christ’s birth be made manifest in your life and family.
May His message of love, peace, unity and faithfulness be ever sure, in this new chapter of your dear life and even beyond.
Isantim Kenneth Okon continue to bask in the euphoria of birthday couple with Christmas celebration even after the season.
To this end, it is my wish and that of the larger Akwa Ibom youths that God keep you for us, save you to keep serving him and humanity, makes His face shine upon you, prosper you and lead you through the path of your God-given destiny. Amen!
