Ikot Ekpene Restoration Alliance holds one day symposium
A socialite group in the state, Ikot Ekpene Restoration Alliance is set to organize a one day symposium with the theme : Riviving the Covenant and Trust in sustaining the contemporary tide in leadership.
This is contained in a statement issued and jointly signed by the conveners of the event, Pastor Uko Micheal and Barr. Ndifreke Peters and made available to news men.
According to the statement,the event is billed for tomorrow, Wednesday, 16th February, 2022, at the Ikot Ekpene Town Hall by 10am Prompt.
The one day symposium will have the Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council, Obong(Hon) Unyime Etim as the host while Comrade Iboro Ibara,Vice Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, will be the keynote speaker. The Police and Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency and other relevant agencies of shall be on hand to talk on related areas.
The statement further indicates that the aim of this symposium is to address the issue of leadership and how to sustain the contemporary tide in leadership, extensive talks on danger of drug abuse, cultism and other social vices that have the tendencies of harming the youths who are the supposed leaders of tomorrow will also be discussed.
Accordingly, the statement invites Leaders, youths, Students of Ikot Ekpene and residents to the event which promises to be highly educative and enlightening.
