Update: Ibom 3000 project trainees drilled on Oil & Gas skills
The Oil & Gas Academy at Nyadiong in Mkpat Enin Pocal Government Area has been a beehive of activities as beneficiaries of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Ibom 3000 Project have introduced and drilled on the oil & gas components of the training programme.
The visibly elated trainees have some kind words for Governor Udom Emmanuel, as they are trained in fitting, rigging, iron bending, welding, crane operation, fork lifting, scaffolding, catering, among others.
Accorfing to Media Unit of Government House, at the end of their specialist trainings, beneficiaries of the Ibom 3000 project are expected to be equipped and certified ahead of the emerging opportunities in the offshore and onshore oil and gas industries.
Some aides of the Governor, including the Special Assistant on Research and Documentation, Mr. Essien Ndueso, Special Assistant on New Media, Aniekeme Finbarr, Special Assistant on ICT, Solomon Eyo and Special Assistant on Project Monitoring, Uwemedimo Umanah visited the facility on Tuesday, 23rd March, 2021.
