Governor Otu makes fresh appointments in tourism sector
The Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the following appointments for the State Carnival Commission for 2023
The appointees are Mr. Gabe Onah, Executive Chairman of the Board, others Shirley Effiom, member, Bassey Effiom Archibong, member, James Bullem, member, others are, Grace Ann Nku, member while Austin Cobham was made Executive Secretary of the Commission.
In the same vein, Mr. Ojoi Ekpeyong was appointed Executive Director of the Cross River Tourism Bureau.
In a similar situation, Mr. Effiong A. Ekpeyong and Thomas Edim Ikpeme were appointed as Special Advisers for Event Management Governor’s Office, and Tourism Development.
The governor directs new appointees to apply their rich experience to new positions and treats their appointment as a call to duty.
Meanwhile, the appointments are effective August 1, 2023.
