FEDPUKA: Rector lauds Police Secondary School School, Ukana for discipline
The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Dr Uduak Sunday Ukekpe has commended the Management of Police Secondary school, Ukana for maintaining high level of discipline and for raising the bar in secondary education in the area.
Dr. Ukekpe made this commendation weekend while serving as Chairman during the 2023 POP/Prize Giving Day at the school playground.
The FEDPUKA Rector congratulated the graduating students and charged them to work hard even as they continue to climb the academic ladder with passion and dedication. He expressed optimism that the training they received from the school will propel them to great hight academically.
The Polytechnic boss called on public spirited individuals and corporate organisations to support the institution to enable it continue to provide for the academic needs of young ones.
Earlier, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of who was represented by a Deputy Commissioner of Police,DCP Regina Udoette said the Nigerian Police will continue to invest in education as part of its contribution to the peace and development of the country. She applauded the Commandant,Staff and the graduating students and urged them to keep the flag of the school flying. The CP pledged the continuous support of the state command to the school.
Dr.Ukekpe presented a special prize to the best graduating chemistry student in the school
Highpoint of the ceremony witnessed special parade by students,award of prizes and awards in academic excellence and special awards to deserving students.
The graduation ceremony also had goodwill messages from the Chairman of Essien Udim, DIG Udom Ekpoudom, Vice Chancellor of Uniuyo as well as from the traditional institution in Essien Udim led by the Paramount Ruler,HRM Akwa Akuku Annang, Obong Cosmas Akpan.
