The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio has instructed his lawyers to seek necessary redress in a court of competent jurisdiction on his behalf over an alleged defamatory Statements made by the erstwhile Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Ms Joi Nunieh
the former NDDC boss, Ms Joi Nunieh has in a recent television interview boasted about how she slapped the Niger Delta Minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio for sexually harassing her.
Nunieh also accused Senator Akpabio of serial corrupt practices in the commission which he supervised as the minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
Meanwhile, Senator Akpabio who had earlier dismissed such allegations as complete lies and false through his Media Aide, Anietie Ekong also promised to challenge the allegation in court.
