…As 24,929 households set to benefit in cash transfer
Not fewer than 24,929 vulnerable households in Akwa Ibom State are to benefit from the Federal Government’s Social Intervention Programme through National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO).
According to reports a total of ₦993,450,000,00 is to be shared among nine selected local government areas of the state, representing 30% of the LGAs as approved by the government.
The cash transfer programme was declared opened in Akwa Ibom on Tuesday, 29 September 2020.
The selected local government areas include:

5. NSIT UBIUM

Meanwhile, the Federal Government delegation was in Ikono local government area today where about 2954 households in the area received their cash.
