Anthony Luke has changed the narrative in Essien Udim – Rep Nsikak Ekong

The Chairman, Essien Udim Local Government Council, Mr Anthony Luke has been commended for his passion for grassroots development.
The member representing Ikot Ekpene, Essien Udim and Obot Akara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Nsikak Ekong who stated this while addressing youths in the area said the Council Chairman has capacity to change the narrative in Essien Udim and make life better for the people.
The MP pledged his unalloyed support to the Chairman to succeed in implementing his lofty programmes for the benefit of the people as he vowed to partner the Council Chairman for more progress and prosperity of the people.
He also called on the youths and Essien Udim people to believe in the administration of Mr Anthony Luke and also rally round him to make the difference in grassroots governance.
According to him Anthony Luke has already started the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people by making the ensuring peace and security of lives and property of the people.
Ekong who described the Chairman as a man of many ideas and strategies for development expressed optimism that his administration would be outstanding in performance.
While acknowledging the roles played by the Council Chairman during his elections in 2019, Ekong noted that the Council Chairman has Essien Udim people at heart and will surely put smiles on their faces.
He noted that God is on his side and that His grace will see him through a successful administration.
Responding onbehalf of the Youths, Mr Nsikak Isidor commended the MP for his effective and efficient representation at the Lower Chambers of the National Assembly and his interest to impart in lives.
Isidor described him as the most accessible and youth friendly representative who has always left his door opened for the youths and members of his constituent.
He thanked the MP for always supporting the Council Chairman and also pledged the unflinching support of the youths to Mr Anthony Luke’s administration to succeed.
