Anambra Guber: Uzodinma, Omo-Agege, 22 others to lead APC national campaign team
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma as the chairman of the National Campaign Committee, which would lead 22 other governors in campaigning for the party ahead of the next governorship election in Anambra state.
Other members of the national campaign team include Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Speaker Idris Wase, Minister of State for Petroleum Chief Timipre Sylva, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Senator George Akume, past governors, and ministers, among others.
Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state will serve as deputy chairman of the national campaign committee, while governor Babajide Sawoolu will head the finance sub-committee, governor Abubakar Badaru will head special intervention, governor Yahaya Bello will head security, and Chief Timipre Sylva will head election sub-committee.

According to the statement, the National Campaign Committee will be inaugurated on Tuesday, August 17th 2021 at noon at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.
The campaign team is expected to deliver the party’s governorship candidate in the forthcoming election Senator Andy Uba.
