Since the six years APC have been in power, what have they done to the South East?
I know there are always a ready-made alibi in-waiting for defectors to give but there are some that makes one sound and look stupid.
You said you were moving because of injustice of PDP to the South East.
The the APC that you have moved to, what have they done?
PDP has given South East Senate President.
PDP has given South East Deputy Senate President.
PDP has given South East Deputy Speaker.
PDP has given South East Chief Of Army Staff (First in History).
PDP has given South East SGF. What has APC given to us?
For the first in the history of Nigeria’s democratic politics, this is the first NO South Easterner is in any security council meeting of this country in the last six years of APC regime.
All the top positions that were normally shared by the three major ethnic groups in the country…. For the first time in Nigeria’s history… No Igbo man or South Easterner is in top 10 position…. From the presidency to the both federal law making houses to the service chiefs….. So what has APC given to South East and the Igbos?
Umahi should be ashamed of himself for speaking to the full glare of national televisions that he is joining a party that has brought calamity and untold hardship and abject poverty to Nigeria and Nigerians.
For even having the temerity to even make public his defection into a party that has plunged the country into the world capital of abject poverty tells a lot about the character of the man in Umahi as selfish and self seeking whom the larger plight of the masses means nothing to him.
