NATFORCE gets new dynamic leadership
The National Taskforce for the Prohibition of Illegal Importation/Smuggling of Arms, Ammunitions,Light Weapons,Chemical Weapons NATFORCE) has appointed Musa Mohammed as the New Acting Director General.
The appointment was sequel to a general consensus agreed by the management staff of the organization across states of the federation even as the pioneer DG Chief Osita Okereke has proceeded on a medical tourism.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the event, the New Acting Director General promised to tackle unity of purpose in the association adding that the passage of Natforce bill currently before the two chambers of legislatures as well lobbying for partnership and recognition among security agencies are his immediate priorities.
He also promised to use his long build contacts within and outside Nigeria for the betterment of Natforce and its teaming members urging all to keep always keep the hope and aspiration of the association alive.
On the alleged perceived negative image of Natforce by some security organizations in the country, the new DG said ‘it is not uncommon for security organization to see emerging association like Natforce with high spirit to curb crime coming up to support or surpass them in carrying out the tasks of ending bandits, kidnappers among others history’.
He also used the opportunity to extend invitation to all who might have been offended in one way or the other to have a rethink and join hands with the New Natforce in order to achieve a maximum results for the organization.
Meanwhile Dr Baba Muhammed , a seasoned administrator has also been appointed the deputy director general of the association.y
