Golden Jubilee: Nka Eti Ido 1973 Age Group, Oro Nation, marks 50th anniversary
All is now set for the 50th anniversary celebration of Nka Eti Ido 1973 Age Group in all the 5 local government areas in Oro Nation.
A statement by Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Chief Etim Okon Okpo, the Golden jubilee anniversary is slated for Friday, 29th December, 2023, at Enwang Civil Centre, Enwang, Mbo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.
The event, according to the President of of the association, Comrade Edet Asukwo Inyang, will feature cultural displays showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Oro ethnic nationality.
Among the cultural displays billed for the occasion are “Afia Anwan” masquerade, “Ekōng”, Abang, Afiakayid, Nkuho and Land Speedboat Show a gigantic Cargo Boat called “Ubom Noah” powered by outboard engines and managed by a member of the association, Chief Soccer.
