Essien Udim PDP youths score Anthony Luke ‘s administration high on investment in education, infrastructure
…congratulate council boss on academic achievements
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, youths in Essien Udim has commended the Local Government Council Chairman, Mr. Anthony Luke over his administration’s investment in education, infrastructure and human empowerment for grassroots development.
This is contained in a release signed by the Chapter Youth Leader and Directorate of Youth Affairs, Comrade Raymond Ekpe on 28th October 2023.
The youths also congratulated the Chairman on his latest academic achievement of doctorate degree in International Relations from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, faculty of Social Sciences, university of Uyo.

Congratulations Mr Chairman!
On behalf of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Essien Udim Chapter, I want to give you a big shout-out and congratulations! Hon (Dr) Anthony Luke, Executive Chairman of Essien Udim LGA, you have just earned yourself a doctorate degree in International Relations Political Science/Public Administration from the prestigious University of Uyo. That’s seriously impressive, Sir!
Your dedication to higher education is truly inspiring for all of us in your political crew. Your thirst for knowledge in the political landscape is a clear reflection of your passion for good governance.
We have witnessed your love for education firsthand through the bursary payments to over 3000 Essien Udim students, helping them out with their financial needs in school. And we have not forgotten about the amazing things you have done for our community, like remodeling the Essien Udim police headquarters, constructing the Traditional Rulers Council hall, and generously donating new vehicles to council officials, among others. These acts deserve a standing ovation. Essien Udim is truly fortunate to have such an incredible leader who always strives for excellence.
Mr Chairman, your new doctorate is a testament to your intelligence, hard work, and unwavering dedication to being a top-notch scholar. We couldn’t be prouder of you!
