NACRISS, NANS insist on zoning in Cross River
The student leadership forum of Cross River State under the umbrella of the National Association of Cross River State Students World Wide (NACRISS) and the National Association of Nigerian Students ( NANS) says “We endorse only candidates whose candidature has fulfilled the power rotation principle of Cross River State”
The Students Union says it has unanimously endorsed Senator Prince Bassey Otu, the APC Cross River Guber candidate on the 11th March 2023 election whose candidature reflects the yearning power rotation principle.
In the communique which was read in parts, by the Students Union leader, Comrade Edet Bonifase “After due consultations, in-depth analysis of events and gathered majority opinions without ethnic sentiments in our dear state as explained above, we the undersigned critical stakeholders on behalf of thousands of our followers and believers in the Prince Otu Governorship project have therefore, resolve to endorse the only candidate whose candidature has fulfilled the power rotation principle of Cross River State”
Enumerating why Prince is most favoured among other candidates in the race, the statement further reads, “Senator Bassey Otu is favoured by the argument of time he is also the most student and youth-friendly candidate with greater antecedents compared to all other candidates in many ways, among his achievements includes, Building of UNICROSS administrative block, the building of schools and several school blocks across the Southern senatorial district, awarding of grants and scholarships to students as well as giving employment to many youths among other achievements”
