2023: Aniekan Akpan predicts victory for PDP in Akwa Ibom
The Akwa Ibom State Chapter Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Aniekan Akpan has assured party faithful that the party will win the State election in the next general elections.
He gave the assurance, Tuesday, when he led a team of national delegates Election Monitory Committee led by Mr. Magaji Mohammed to monitor the exercise in Uyo, Ibesikpo Asutan, Nsit Ibom and Abak.
The State Chairman expressed optimism that as far as the PDP is the DNA profile of the State that the party is in good stead to cruise to sweeping victory.
He said that the team was in the State from the National Headquarters of the party to authenticate the transparency of the exercise.
He charged members to unite and work together for the high stake assignment ahead.
The Chairman of the Election Monitoring Committee, Mr. Mohammed commended the peaceful, free and fair conduct of the exercise by the party faithful, adding that the large turn-out of members was something to write home about.
Hon. Uwem Effiong Asuquo and Mr. John Etukudoh were elected in Uyo; Sylvester George and Michael Okon Ikpe clinched the tickets as National Delegates in Ibesikpo Asutan as Gen. Paul Isang (retd.) and Christian Akpan smiled home with victory in Nsit Ibom while Mr. Gabriel Etim and Mercy Jack Jacob triumphed in Abak.
