Ikot Ekpene SD 2023: Essien Udim is for Enoidem – ALUKO declares
As the race to the National Assembly gathers momentum, the Essien Udim Council Chairman, Mr Anthony Luke has assured the aspirant for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District seat, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem of his unalloyed and unwavering support to actualize his aspiration to represent the people in the senate in 2023.
The Council Chairman popularly known as ALUKO stated this when the aspirant consulted him at his country home Ikot Uko Etor in Okon Clan in Essien Udim on Sunday, 6th February 2023.
He described Enoidem’s aspiration as timely and divine adding that the senate aspirant has paid his dues as a loyal party man.
While acknowledging the numerous contributions of Barr Enoidem to the growth and developing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which he is one of the founding members in the state and also served the party in the state and national at different capacities, the council helmsman described the aspirant as a man of justice, equity and fairness who deserve an elective office.
“”We all know Enoidem as a man who has contributed to the development of the party, the state and the nation in general in different as a commissioner, state treasurer of the party and recently national legal adviser of the party.
“”Enoidem is the most qualified candidate for the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District seat,” ALUKO remarked.
He noted that Enoidem has always stood by him and therefore he will mobilize his people to support him to succeed adding that the aspirant has capacity to give the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District effective at the red chambers of the National Assembly.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, the National Coordinator of Maintain Peace Movement and the senatorial aspirant, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem thanked the Essien Udim council boss, Mr Anthony Luke for honouring him and always demonstrating commitment to good course and service to his people.
He commended the people of the area for the heralding welcome.
The Senatorial District aspirant said he has always stood by Essien Udim people to succeed at different times and so does not need to canvass for vote in Essien Udim.
He promised not to disappoint Essien Udim people when voted into office as the Senator representing while describing Essien Udim people as a force to reckon with in politics.
