Akwa Ibom Community, Abuja set to inaugurate 15th Executive Council, inducts Trustees, Patrons, others
The Akwa Ibom Community, Abuja is inviting all indigenes of the state based in the Federal Capital Territory and the general public to the inauguration of the 15th Executive Council, induction of trustees, patrons/patronesses and political leaders of the body.
This is contained in a release jointly signed by the President of the organisation, Barr. Aniefiok Ibah and Chairman Central Planning Committee, Elder Tommy Udoime and made available to morenews.ng
The statement shows that the event will be chaired by Barr Ekpo Nta – Chairman, National Salaries, Income & Wages Commission while the state Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel is expected as the Special Guest of Honour.
According to the release, the inauguration will take place on Saturday, 13th November, 2021 by 10am at Akwa Ibom House, opposite Federal Ministry of Finance, Central Business Area, Abuja.
The release indicates that the event shall feature other activities such as launching of one million naira appeal fund for foundation of Ibom Bowl Ultra Modern Complex in Abuja and presentation of AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE to deserving citizens within and outside Akwa Ibom State.
The organisation particularly invites members of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council, the Legislators at the State Assembly, Local Government Chairmen/cabinets, members of the National Assembly from Akwa Ibom State, all the Federal Government appointees from Akwa Ibom State, the Federal Capital Territory Administration led by the Honourable Minister of FCT, Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello, corporate organizations, Religious/Traditional leaders, other socio-Cultural organizations, Members of the Diplomatic Corps/Embassies, Akwa Ibom citizens (at home and diaspora), other Government functionaries, the Leadership/members of Akwa Ibom Community at satellite branches and Chapters, the media.
The release also reveals that a COMMUNITY SOCIAL NIGHT will take place after the inauguration at the same venue to fan the embers of love, unity and progress.
