Senate 2023: PDP Chapter Women Leaders endorse Paul Ekpo for Uyo SD
As the senatorial ambition of Obong Paul Ekpo continues to gather general acceptability of the people of Uyo Senatorial District, PDP Chapter women leaders from the nine local government across the district yesterday endorsed the former two term state chairman for the red chamber job come 2023.
The event which was held at Shelter Afrique residence of Obong Paul Ekpo had some State executives of the party in attendance such as Mrs Meme Akpabio – State Woman leader and Hon. Lawrence Udosen – Deputy Chairman.
The PDP Chapter women Leaders and all female officers of the party led by Etinan Chapter Woman Leader, Hon. Nsidibe Obot while unanimously adopted Obong Paul Ekpo as their sole candidate, declared their support to the National Ex- Officio of the party.
“We have come today to declare our support to your aspiration, Obong Paul Ekpo deserves all the reward because of his loyalty and service to the party and state”
Paul Ekpo while reacting, thanked the chapter women leaders and female officers who paid him a suprise visit in solidarity to support his senatorial aspiration.
